The curriculum resources above have been developed for teachers of students at all age levels. They contain biographical information about the subject and historical information about the times in which that subject lived. This additional historical information will help form a background for study. The narrative is punctuated by teaching tips and classroom suggestions for activities related to the subject, as well as opportunities for further investigation and vocabulary lists.


The Georgia Historical Society’s collections are the basis for research, but other collections and sources have also been consulted.
